Abstract

Stress and creativity go hand in hand. In the course of this research paper the correlation between the two was examined to understand how stress may influence the performance and the creativity levels of high school teachers. The aim of the present study is to explore the relationship between stress and creativity of high school teachers. 10 high school teachers were surveyed to understand the effect of stress on creativity. The Perceived Stress Scale and The Kaufman Domains of Creativity Scale were used to understand the impact of stress levels on creativity levels. The results indicated that the creativity levels and stress levels were both average and not too high or low, which also indicated that the limited sample size couldn’t be generalised. This study can further help in understanding the performance of high school teachers experiencing different levels of stress.
